Suprema, a global leader of AI-based security solutions, supplies products and services across more than 140 countries. To provide customized, localized services, Suprema operates eight global offices, each delivering specialized sales and technical support. In 2019, Suprema’s headquarters technical support team hosted its first workshop in Portugal. This year marked the fourth gathering, held from August 26 to 30 at Suprema’s headquarters, branded as “TECHERA 2024” — a milestone event to align and elevate technical support quality across the global network.

The name "TECHERA" combines "Technical" and "Era," symbolizing Suprema’s mission to lead the industry into a “New Era of Technology.” At this year’s workshop, Suprema’s technical support global teams gathered to share insights, grow collectively, and strengthen Suprema’s technical leadership. Close collaboration with R&D and strategic planning experts enriched these sessions, fostering knowledge-sharing and advancing expertise across Suprema’s product portfolio. This collaborative foundation enables Suprema to deliver exceptional support and technical consulting to customers worldwide.

The workshop’s theme, “#NEXT LEVEL,” highlighted Suprema’s commitment to elevating technical support globally. Suprema’s integrated security platform, BioStar 2, is built on an open API, offering a flexible architecture and seamless integration with third-party solutions. At TECHERA 2024, teams discussed ways to customize technical support for varied infrastructure needs, sharing real-world case studies and developing global technical consulting strategies customized to each region. Dynamic discussions between product development and planning teams enhanced product strategies and roadmap development, ensuring Suprema’s offerings are aligned with customers’ needs.

Participants also toured Suprema’s production lne, BioFactory, to see firsthand how Suprema’s products uphold the highest quality standards. At BioFactory, Suprema has implemented smart factory technologies that automate manufacturing and reliability testing processes, boosting both productivity and quality. Suprema’s commitment to quality and efficiency ensures a consistently high standard of service and products, reinforcing its global reputation.

This year’s TECHERA 2024 saw a record 21 participants from global offices across Europe, the UK, the Middle East, India, Mexico, and Japan, underscoring Suprema’s expanding global reach and leadership. This event was more than a workshop; it was an opportunity for technical experts from diverse regions to strategize, share knowledge, and align with Suprema’s innovative future to lead the security solutions industry.

On the final day, participants enjoyed tours of Seoul’s landmarks and the traditional Hanok village, fostering teamwork among teams from seven countries and Suprema’s headquarters. This shared experience strengthened their commitment to a unified mission, paving the way for Suprema to lead the industry into a new era of security solutions through TECHERA.
